You are loved are three words that are unfortunately not heard as often as we need to hear them. I encourage you to read and mediate on these two awe-inspiring verses today. “How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You” (Psalm 139:17-18). The God of the Universe is so grand and magnificent His thoughts toward you alone cannot be counted and are more than all the sand. Next time feelings of doubt or insecurity try to creep into your mind, combat it with this thought. There is no way God would think about me so often if He isn’t crazy in love with me. Spend some time today thinking about Him and thank Him for His goodness and blessing of being able to practice being silent and spending time in His presence.
“Silence is the element in which great things fashion themselves.” (Thomas Carlyle)
“In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.” (Isaiah 30:15)
This song reminds us we don’t have to prove ourselves or be someone else. God made you for a plan and purpose and loves His creation.
“You are loved
If your heart's in a thousand pieces
If you're lost and you're far from reason
Just look up; know you are loved
Just look up; and know you are loved
When it feels like something's missing
If it hurts but you can't find healing
Just look up, know you are loved
Just look up, know you are loved”
Have a great day!
