I recently took my lovely wife, Tiffany, to enjoy a mouthwatering, 12 Oz blackened angus ribeye with a side of creamy mash potatoes and succulent collard greens. As we sat across from each other, few words were spoken as we savored every tasty morsel of charred bliss. It was the best steak either of us had ever eaten. As good as that meal was, there is something far better that satisfies our hunger. Psalm 119:103 says “How sweet are Yours words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!” When we take the time to read God’s Word, let’s savor every God inspired word and remember that “His word is a lamp to our feet and light to our path.” May it guide us, direct us and move us to proclaim with confidence that Jesus is Lord.
“Contact with God establishes within us a flow of the same type of energy that re-creates the world and that renews springtime every year.” (Positive Thinking Every Day by Norman Vincent Peale)
“What you think about God will define who you believe yourself to be.” (Transformed: A New Way Of Being Christian by Caesar Kalinowski)
Remember the feeling of wearing your new shoes to school? This song reminds us being joyful in the Lord is kind of like that but way better : )
“I got that Feelin’ that you get When you get new Kicks Bell Ringing on the last day Of Senior Year High-fiving everybody But we outta here (Today, today) “
Have a great evening!
