We are so fortunate we have the ability to freely worship God in our country. In other countries, Christians are openly attacked and persecuted in ways difficult for us to comprehend and understand. Even with this persecution, the body of believers continue to grow in staggering numbers in other parts of the world through underground churches and faithful followers unashamedly sharing the good news within their circle of influence. It should come as no surprise that 2 Tim. 3:12 says “All who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.” It could be persecution within one’s family, circle of friends, neighbors and possibly even in your workplace. Regardless of where the persecution comes from I have a reminder for you. Your personal relationship with Jesus Christ is too valuable, too precious and too important to let outside influences impact your internal relationship.
“For in my inner self I delight in God’s law…” (Romans 7:22)
“So then, with my mind I myself am serving the law of God…” (Romans 7:25)
We know that God is good and this song is a fantastic reminder that is true even in times of difficulty.
“I know that You are good I know that You are kind I know that You are so much more Than what I leave behind I know that I am loved I know that I am safe Cause even in the fire to live is Christ, to die is gain I know that You are good”
Have a great day!
