To be inspired and motivated takes effort which ultimately requires thought and energy. That would be the opposite of easy which is typically minimal effort and few difficulties, if any. In Ephesians 2: 19-22 it says, "So then you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of God's household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone. The whole building, being put together by Him, grows into a holy sanctuary in the Lord. You are also being built together for God's dwelling in the Spirit."
We are all called to something greater than ourselves. Being "built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets" is a reminder to build our lives on God's Word and not modern ideas. What type of impact can we have in our community if we fervently and passionately "love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself”? (Luke 10:27)
"Enthusiasm is a word meaning full of God. So to have enthusiasm fill your mind full of God" (Positive Thinking Every Day by Norman Vincent Peale)
"Christianity does not teach a withdrawal from life, but an infiltration of it" (Bill Glass)
Have a great evening!
