This morning we were reminded "the Lord takes pleasure in His people" and that "we were bought at a price." It is not always easy to move forward when we are being called to do something for His glory and honor. People may laugh at us or simply just not understand the calling that has been placed on our heart. The path of least resistance is inevitably a comfortable retreat; however, the arduous advance with the prospect of no reward shows a heart of persistence and perseverance.
If we want to be useful to God, here are two things we can do everyday:
1) "Be a person who talks to God - Welcome Him into your thoughts and share yourself with Him" (HCSB)
2) "Be a person who walks with God - Put what you learn from His Word into action." (HCSB)
"Fear makes the wolf bigger than he is." (German Adage)
"Faith in yourself and faith in God are the key to the mastery of fear." (Harold Sherman)
"For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but one of power, love, and sound judgment."
(2 Timothy 1:7)
This song is a great reminder that when He arrives we come to life.
Steal My Show - Toby Mac
"When you arrive
We come to life
Our hearts collide, they're beating in the same time
You're coming through
All eyes on you"
Have a great day!
-Miguel
